Hi! I'm Kat, a native "Texican" (Texas + Mexican) living and working in Great Britain. As the only girl of four, I spent my childhood learning how to shoot cans with a BB gun, in a dress & pigtails, and dominate at Mario Kart N64.  Really.  Try me.  I'm pretty good.

I graduated high school as Student Body President and as a three time Texas All-State Choir Member. Thanks to David Custer for instilling the desire to be an all-around artist.

I earned an academic & talent scholarship from Oklahoma City University and went on to complete my Bachelors of Music degree. Whilst at OKCU, I was the Undergraduate Assistant to the Director of Opera/Music Theater, Dr. David Herendeen. I studied with Larry Keller, Jan McDaniel, Dr. Dennis Schneider, & Jonathan Beck-Reed. I played Clara, in SIGNOR DELUSO, and Isabella, in PIRATES OF PENZANCE.

Upon graduating from Oklahoma City University, I spent 7 months as an exchange student in London, travelling Europe, and performing in my first professional gig as the Angel Gabriel in CHRISTMAS TIMES.

I then returned to Texas and spent the fourth summer as a camp counsellor, where I would fall in love with a Yorkshireman. The next three years were spent teaching as a Middle School Choir Director and spending my holidays abroad. We were married and decided to reside in England.

I've recently played Nellie Forbush, in SOUTH PACIFIC, and Tracy Turnblad, in HAIRSPRAY, with the Darlington Operatic Society at the Darlington Civic Theatre.

Also exciting was booking my first TV gig as a Santa Phobic for ABC Family International.

I frequently do voice over work for UNASYS, a Mechanical Engineering company in the North East of England.

I am currently studying with Jane Streeton, singing coach, vocal advisor, and Lead Singing Tutor at RADA.

I am represented by Tom Gribby and Rob Eyles of Northbridge Talent Agency.
